Festive Menu – All You Need to Know (Diwali & Raksha Bandhan)
Our festive collections are thoughtfully curated and released in limited quantities. Each box is crafted with intention, elegance, and balance, no customisation is available.
All orders must be placed via our website only. We do not accept orders via WhatsApp, SMS, Instagram DMs, or email during festive launches. This ensures a smooth and fair experience for everyone.

Orders are available for collection in Durban (details shared after purchase)
Courier may be available for selected items, but due to the fragile nature of our packaging, we cannot be held responsible for any damage in transit.
Once the festive menu goes live, orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. These collections are highly anticipated and often sell out quickly, so we recommend placing your order as soon as the drop is announced.
Do you deliver or offer courier?
We are based in Durban, South Africa. Orders are available for collection. Limited local delivery may be arranged on request, but due to the fragile nature of our products, we only offer national delivery for certain items. Please get in touch for more information.
What does Vivah Trousseaux offer?
We specialise in bespoke Indian mithai, bridal trousseaux, decorated coconuts, kuncha trays, prayer offerings, paan and mithai set ups and more, all handcrafted with elegance and detail. Each item is designed to celebrate tradition in a modern, luxurious way.
Can I customise the look and style of my order?
Absolutely. Customisation is at the heart of what we do. We can:
- Coordinate the look for themed events or religious occasions
- Match your colour scheme
- Personalise trays, mithai, and packaging
This is not applicable for our festival menus.
How early should I book or make a purchase?
Festive menus → Make your purchase online as soon as orders open as we very rarely restock once sold out.
Large custom orders → 2 months ahead is ideal. For smaller orders, we can accommodate you up to two weeks ahead. But we always recommend reaching out to us first.
Do you have a physical store I can visit?
We currently do not operate a walk-in store. All orders are custom-made and prepared in our private studio kitchen in Durban. Collections are by appointment only, and we work closely with each client to ensure every order is beautifully personalised.

Do you offer mithai or paan stations for functions and events?
Yes, we love bringing the Vivah experience to your celebrations. We offer beautifully styled mithai stations, paan and mukhwas setups, or favours for weddings, pre-wedding events, and special occasions. Every station is curated to match your event’s aesthetic, with thoughtful details, themed trays, and elegant display elements.
Whether you’re hosting an intimate home gathering or a large-scale function, we can work with you (or your décor team) to create a stunning, flavourful display your guests will remember.
Where can I find your price list?
Our festive price list and menus such as Diwali will be available from our online store. Out of these times, you can email us vivahtrousseaux2017@gmail.com.
How do I store my mithai?
- Cookies: Do not need to be refrigerated. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. Best consumed within 10 days for peak freshness.
- Mithai: Must be refrigerated upon receiving. For best results:
Store in an airtight container in the fridge
Bring to room temperature before serving to restore texture and flavour
Consume within 4-5 days of collection
Some varieties may contain ghee, milk solids, or fresh ingredients that can spoil if left out
